英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第1篇

Dear teacher and CLASSmates:

I am very glad to make a speech here in this CLASS again! This time, Id like to talk something about English.

I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.

I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Ill introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English.

Hello, everyone:

Good morning teachers and fellow students. Today we would like to introduce a few favorite books to you.

My favorite book is(Italian: Cuore). This is a diary written by an Italian boy Enrico. The diary is about his life and study. It included various touching stories that happened around Enrico, the mottos taught by his parents, as well as the wonderful ten _monthly_ stories told by his teacher during the class. Every word in the chapter describes the word _love_. From patriotism to friendship, and to the love between parents and child -- really touching.

This novel taught me how to love, and how to learn from love. I really like this book very much. How about you? What is your favorite book?

My favorite book is. Have you read it before? Oh, I haven’t read this book before. What is it about?

Well, it is a story of a rich girl who maintained her noble character after the bankruptcy of her father. The story is happy ending. Can you tell us why you love this book so much?

Sure. It is because the story taught us to be brave and to face the challenges and difficulties with courage. I am deeply impressed by the strength and perseverance of the little princess in the story. I have decided to learn from her from now on.

Oh I see, the story sounds very good. I cannot wait to read this book as well.

Dear teachers, dear students:

Hello everyone! Today, my topic is _I love reading._

Golgi said, _Im on the book like a hungry man on the bread._ We cant go around the world, but, can bring us to every corner of the earth. A classic book is a perfect world. In this world, there are mountains and sea in the classroom; there are clouds and days that are not seen on the playground; there is no color on the blackboard; there are pictures that can not be turned out in the textbooks.

I love reading, and with good books, is a very happy thing. When I got together with my good friends and read a good book, when my mother and I were attracted by the plot in the book, the happiness was that chocolate and Princess skirts were far from being replaced. Having books is like having good teachers and helpful friends. They accompany me, and they make me happy and grow up with me!

I love reading, as Gerd said, _read a good book, and one._

Thanksgiving is a very important American festivity and it is celebrated on the last Thursday of November.

However, schools and many shops and offices are closed for four days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Americans travel great distances to be with their families on this occasion.

Why is Thanksgiving such an important day?

The tradition started with the Pilgrims, the founders of America.

The Pilgrims left Great Britain in 1620. They wanted to start a new life in America . One hundred men, women and children left Britain on a small ship called the Mayflower. They arrived on the north-east coast of North America in December 1620 and founded Plymouth.

It was winter and they had no homes and little food.

They built small homes, But it was too late to cultivate crops.

The winter was very cold and harsh. Their living conditions were very bad. The friendly Wampanoag Indians helped them during the long the spring the Pilgrims met an Indian called Squanto. He explained how to grow corn, hunt and live in the wilderness. Soon the Pilgrims and the Indians became good friends.

The Pilgrims worked hard . By November 1621 everyone had food and a home. There was hope for the future. The Pilgrim leader, decided to celebrate with a dinner for the Pilgrims and the Indians. He wanted to give thanks to God.

This was the first Thanksgiving dinner and it lasted for three days.

Today the traditional Thanksgiving meal is similar to the first.

People eatroast turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

Let's pregnant with a grateful heart. Thank all who helped us.

hello! how’s it going? eh…this time i want to talk about the spring festival.

you must hear about this festival many times though you are not chinese, because the spring festival is one of the oldest festival in china and every time when you ask a foreigner “what do you know about chinese culture?” majority of them might answer “the spring festival!”. for chinese, that’s true the spring festival is a traditional and important festival. so let me introduce something about it.

there are some key points of it. “new year’s eve” ”poetic couplet” “paper-cuts” “do spring festival shopping” “propose a toast” “fireworks” “red packets” “give new year’s greetings” and so on. following is more clearly.

days before the new year

on the days before the new year celebration, chinese families give their home a thorough cleaning. it is believed the cleaning sweeps away bad luck and makes their homes ready for good luck to arrive. all brooms and dust pans are put away on new year's eve so that good luck cannot be swept away. some people give their homes, doors and windowpanes a new coat of red paint. homes are decorated with paper cutouts of chinese auspicious phrases and couplets (short phrases) that speak of _happiness,_ _wealth,_ _longevity._

reunion dinner

a reunion dinner is held on new year's eve where members of the family, near and far, get together for celebration. the new year's eve dinner is very large and traditionally includes chicken. fish, but not eaten up completely (and the remainder is stored overnight), as the chinese phrase (nián nián yǒu yú), which means _may there be surpluses every year_, sounds the same as _may there be fish every year_, since _yú_ is also the pronunciation for _yú_ (_leftover_ or _surplus_).

money given to children

on the night of new year’s eve or the first day of new years, just after the big dinner when people are gathered for talk, relatives usually put _yā suì qián_ or _end of year money_ in the red packets. that’s what kids all love. and at the same time kids should give new year’s greetings like “happy new year!” “live a happy life!”

the spring festival is more than what i told you. and sometimes i just think of it as a holiday. hope to hear from you.

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It’s great to be here. First of all, thanks for your coming. Tonight, what I am gonna talk about is innovation. Who can tell me what is innovation? We all know that, since 1978, China has been through the greatest changes brought by the reform and openingxxup. So what we can see from the reform and openingxxup? The power of innovation. That’s why I am here. I am here to show you my Chinese dream. I want to talk about the future and how we're going to win it. If we want to make innovation. But firstly, we should make sure that China is a place where we can make it if we try, where we can go as far as hard work and big dreams will take us. We understand that it’s not going to be a cakewalk, this competition for the future, which means all of us are going to have to do our best. We are going to have to win the future by being smarter and working harder and working together. Innovation is the spirit of our country, the motive force for our country’s prosperity.

Sparking the imagination and creativity of our people, unleashing new discoveries xxthat's what China will do better than any other country on Earth. From the moment we have a new idea, we can explore it; we can develop it with a research grant; we can protect it with a patent; we can market it with a loan to start a new business. We’ve got a chain that takes a great idea all the way through. We must be confirmed that, today, the challenges we face are real.

They are serious they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But we will somehow find a way to overcome the difficulties. My major is xx. My job is to discover or create new drugs for many diseases like cancer. You know that laboratory is the place where miracles happen. Believe it or not. What I do can save millions of people’s lives. For a long time, what challenges me is how to commercialize research. You come up with a great idea, but moving that new discovery from theory to practice or from the lab to the marketplace, that's re ally a big job. That’s what we should focus on.

We need to act with a sense of urgencyxxto study and work and create as if the fate of the country depends on usxxbecause it does. It depends on us. Thank you!

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第7篇

I was seventeen, almost a senior in high school. I was riding my bike to school. I had taken a special route to pick up a gift, but that day, _the road less traveled by_ led to disaster. Crossing a road, a drunk driver ran a red light, slammed into me, and shattered my left knee.

It made all the difference.

I was forced to postpone college, plunged into painful therapy . . . but eventually, I also learned much about life and myself. I found the strength to withstand adversity, learned compassion, and above all, I learned that the road not taken is not just about regrets or choices but also about the perpetual now and the always-coming future.

When I first studied Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken” in middle school, I was unable to grasp its ambiguity. I always thought that Frost’s persona chooses “a road less traveled by” and lives life being subversive and irreverent. I was wrong. In the poem, both of the two roads that “diverged in a yellow wood” are actually “about the same.” But there has to be a choice, and sometimes, they it can be involuntary (as I learned the hard way). This makes me extremely thankful and resolute when I can make conscious choices and plan for the future, and so I know now that Frost's poem is also about _the road not [yet] taken._

For everyone, this means something slightly different. For me, it means constant vigilance, learning, and love. Our journey is hard, complex, and it often presents unexpected twists, but reflecting on the roads not taken and not yet taken each day gives us a little more strength and confidence. Life cannot and will not me perfect, and the truth is it will end. But as Willa Cather would say, “The end is nothing, the road is all.” The road not taken in the past, and the road not yet taken that lies ahead.

But about the present? It joints the past and the future. What then, is “the road not taken” in the perpetual now? Personally, I find an answer in these lines from Alfred Lord Tennyson’s “Ulysses”:

Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and though

We are not now that strength which in old days

Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are

One equal temper of heroic hearts,

Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will

To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Thank you.

Learn How to Say No

We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.

When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing others is the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第9篇

Hello, everyone:

Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!

In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.

If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world!

So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence.

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第10篇

Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen,

The fairytale of Aladdin has always been my childhood favorite. I was mesmerized by how Aladdin used his three magic wishes. As a small girl, I dreamed of having the magic wishes to go wherever I wanted to go and see whatever I wanted to see. As you can probably guess, I haven’t found my genie in the lamp yet, however, I have found something just as exciting and it has made marvelous changes in not only my life, but the lives of all human-beings. It is called technology.

I still remember how my father told me about his childhood back in those days when China was not as open and developed as it is now. Children would run for kilometers to school, make toys with wood by themselves, and the biggest dream of a child was holding two jars of sugar, one white, the other brown in each arm and having the choice of eating whichever he wanted. Just look at what we have now. Magnificent technological advancement has opened up a whole new world to us.

However, just as our lives become more convenient, problems arise from this new life style. We seem to be caged in the modern technology; we are thinking alike as a result of using the same search engine, we are getting lazy as most of our work can be done by machines, and we are alienating people around us for we are more comfortable talking on phones and typing in front of a computer.

If I was given the chance to make my magic wishes now, I would wish we could go back in time and live for three days without advanced technology. I wonder what we would do in those three days. Here is what I imagine:

On the first day, people would be feeling so uncomfortable with the new situation that they would probably be confused and just not know what to do. The world would be in a mess for the whole day.

On the second day, as life goes on, people would have to find alternative ways to deal with their daily rituals: students would have to go to libraries for information they wanted instead of searching on Google; boys would have to express their affection to girls in person instead of sending an annoying txt message; and the young people of today would have the chance to experience the childhood of their parents. On this particular day, we could recover all we had lost in the modern world.

Then comes the third day. After the previous two days, we would gradually come to realize that we should have paid more attention to our studies and work as we actually have so much creativity and potential within ourselves. We would also realize that we should have spent more time with a friend, a parent or a child as we do love them, but we don’t really understand them due to the lack of personal communication. We shouldn’t have been so dependent on modern technology as it wasn’t invented to confine us, but to inspire us. This last day would be spent in sparks of new ideas and sweet moments with our loved ones.

Maybe some would argue that it is just my imagination, and that magic would never work in our world. True, but magic can always work in our hearts, helping us understand that we, instead of the machine, are the masters of the world. The key is to treasure our human initiative and connections, to see the world with our own eyes, explore the unknown with our minds and treat others with our hearts. Just like Aladdin didn’t choose to use magic to gain a happy life, we can make our choice, too. And when we do, we will live, as in the fairy tales, happily ever after. Thank you.

“What would you do if you had only one day left to live?”

I asked this question to my young students when teaching English this winter. What were their answers?

“I would watch television!” the first answer. “I would play with the computer!” the second one. “I would play with computer TOO.” The girl finished her sentence perfectly with a serious smile. Indeed how cute and innocent that smile was, but how seriously my heart was hurt. I was too frightened to listen to more answers like that.

Ten years ago, at their age, I had a different answer: I would spend the last day of my life gazing at the face of my dear grandmother until I inscribed every detail of it onto my mind.

When grandmother was getting old and weak, my family bought her a telephone so I could save time and the trouble of traveling to her home by making phone calls instead. Later we bought her a television so she could watch modern dramas by herself. Then grandma must have been, we assumed, very contented and happy.

But I never really knew how grandma felt. She silently passed away without a word one night. When I heard about her death, a chilling pain pierced my empty heart. The pain grew even sharper as I tried to remember in detail exactly how grandma looked and I failed completely! How could I remember? I had not visited her for ages—it seemed like a century! My memories of her dissolved into thin air and leaked away like water.

Even though I have a telephone, can she hear me now?

Even though I might be on television, can she see me now?

Even though I have modern telecommunications, can she still communicate with me now?

With all these “tele”s, I was powerless.

Don't people just love the word of “tele”, which means far away. Indeed this is how modern technology has changed our world. But please don't forget this other word with “tele”: telepathy: which refers to human beings' inborn ability to connect to our loved ones. Our minds are supposed to read each other's minds; our hearts are supposed to feel each other's hearts — and fulfill these without any forms of tool!

But the moment I desperately struggled to remember grandmother's face, the telepathy between her and me had shut down forever. With the help of modern technology, I killed our telepathy.

This shall never happen again! The “tele”s are great inventions. But “telepathy” gives them the warmth of a human face. Let's harness the power of television to excite our kids to develop their telepathy with nature… so that they can read the secret language of flowers. Let's make the telephone lines provoke us to preserve our telepathy with each other, so we can connect in a warm and feeling way. Let technology keep our “telepathy” ALIVE! We need to wake up and make this happen.

I told my grandma's story to those young kids that day. They got very quiet. They asked me for a second chance to answer the question. They had come to a new understanding – that very moment they had made to me and to our future together, a dear promise.

Thank you very much!

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第12篇

First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nion, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-eercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.

Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For eample, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”

For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.

At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

A man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put his head out the window to check. As he did so a glass eye fell into his hand.

He looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman looking down.

_Is this yours?_ he asked.

She said, _Yes, could you bring it up?_ and the man agreed.

On arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink. As she was very attractive he agreed. Shortly afterwards she said, _I'm about to have dinner. There's plenty. Would you like to join me?_

He readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal. As the evening was drawing to a close the lady said, _I've had a marvelous evening. Would you like to stay the night?_

The man hesitated then said, _Do you act like this with every man you meet?_

_No,_ she replied, _Only those who catch my eye._

People, also have a Thanksgiving heart, grateful.

After being cheated of the meat by the fox, the crow stood on the branchand scolded for three days and three nights.

Since then, crows are very wary of foxes, afraid of being cheatedagain.

One day, the crow found a piece of meat. It took the meat in its mouth andstopped on the branch to rest.

He was very alert. He looked left and right for fear that the meat would becheated by the sly fox again.

At this time, the fox is humming a little song in the walk, smelling thesmell of meat, followed the fragrance.

After a while, he came to the tree where the crow stopped.

When the fox saw that it was a crow, he was very happy. He thought tohimself: This crow is very stupid. Last time he said that his singing was good,he cheated the meat away.

It looks like another piece of meat is coming this time.

Seeing that it was a fox, the crow immediately hung the meat on the branchand asked warily, _brother fox, I havent seen you for a long time. What are youdoing this time?_

The crow said, _then you will return the meat you cheated me lasttime._

When the fox heard this, he was very angry and forced to bear the anger inhis heart and said: _brother crow, I have eaten the meat last time.

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第15篇

We live in an era of accelerating change where often as a society and as individuals we seem to be struggling to keep up.

Graduation is all about change. And at Michigan that means it’s not only about the change in you, it’s about the changes you will contribute to in society.

In the fall of 2015, when many of you started as undergraduates here at Michigan, our world was a different place.

Me Too was not yet a hashtag. The event horizon of a black hole had never been imaged. And midterm voter turnout on university campuses across the country was just 19 percent.

Each of these examples, in their own way, demonstrates the often long and difficult path to change.

The Me Too Movement was founded in 2006 by activist and sexual assault survivor Tarana Burke. Burke wanted to provide a place for survivors to tell their stories, for empathy, and for healing.

She spent more than a decade persevering and advocating on the behalf of those whose stories are marginalized, or not told at all. Then the idea she started went viral, transforming into global conversation and, we must hope, change.

The image of the black hole event horizon presented last month required two years of computer analysis, data from 8 observatories on three continents, and a team of 200 scientists, which included 2011 U-M Electrical Engineering graduate Katie Bouman.

We have now seen what had previously been described as un-seeable, and pushed the frontiers of knowledge to the darkest regions of the universe.

And during the 2018 midterm election, Tufts University reports that youth turnout increased in every state for which they have data. In 27 states, it rose by double digits.

Plus, precincts that serve Big Ten campuses saw their turnout increase by an average of 24 percentage points. This is more than double the increase in nearby areas, indicating that students made their voice heard. Higher turnout was a goal of the Big Ten Voting Challenge. Well done!

Choosing to commit to the work needed to make change, and see it through, can produce amazing results – but it can also frustrate.

Change doesn’t happen in a straight line. It’s messy. It can take years, or even decades.

But when it is founded on principled dedication, collaboration, and hope – all the ingredients are in place.

Our campus has wonderful examples.

We all have a dream no matter what it is. When I went to kindergarten the first day, the teacher asked my dream. I remembered I said I would be a scientist quickly, though I had no idea about what it was on earth. As time went by, the older I grew, the more I know. I know being a scientist is not a easy job. It is just a delusion as a child. Now I know my aspiration.

I set the dream, being an international tour conductor for my life. Majoring in English is ready for it. In some degree, being an international tour conductor is the motion to choose the major. If I can speak English well, it would be better for me to communicate with foreigners.

This year I’m a sophomore, I know what the college is for me, I know the world around me and my career plan should carry on from now on.

I think it is possible, because I love the job, I have the passion. On the other hand I have the potential to do this job. I’m outgoing, easygoing and of course I like getting along with the strangers. Mostly importantly, I’m patient which is a basic essence in the tourist industry. The gift of tongues and my inner quality must contribute to this.

What should do next is to obtain the tourist certificate. It is an admission ticket to get in this traveling field. I will work for it. Then I will be harder at learning English: listen, read, translate, speak; leading to make my voice heard and communicate more fluently which is really something.

Then the important role is time management which is a vital step on the way to dream. If I make the full use of it, that is to say, what the time really counts is what the end is after its gradual cumulation, it will be easier for me to realize my career dream. During the weekdays every week, I will make out the schedule to remind myself what I need to do next. Step by step, day after day, I will make little progress everyday. At last it wouldn’t be little.

I only have three years to prepare for it in the college which is a good place to learn and develop for me. Now I’m saving up strength to start out. There is a long way to go. I will try my best to achieve the goal.

No one knows what will happen next! Everything is possible, if we work hard. What my future would be like? It is up to me not others.

Anyway, it must be an unusual experience to build my own future, hold on the dream and take action.

actually, i admire obama not because he looks like me but because he has the habit of reading. when coming across some troubles, he turns to books for help. therefore somebody said that you can tell what is on obama’s mind and what obama intends to do only by knowing what books he’s reading. should someone say that i love reading as much as obama, i will be happy.

even as a young boy i was interested in picture books and storybooks. once my class and history teacher were amazed after i gave a

detailed description of the war between liu bang and xiang yu. i was able to do this because i had read the whole story in a cartoon drawn by the hong kong artist tony wong. as you can see, i gain knowledge through reading.

last year, we had a debate competition. before the game, we collected plenty of books relating to the subject of the debate. we absorbed fresh ideas and we practiced our debating skills according to the guidance of the books. and finally, we won the game.

not only have i learned skills through reading, but i also cultivate my spirit by communicating with the noble authors. i enjoy talking with benjamin franklin. it seems that this wise man wants to show his whole life to me and give me some advice. i enjoy communicating with helen keller through our souls. i am always deeply impressed by her patience and perseverance. i enjoy listening attentively to kai-fu lee. i was suddenly

enlightened when i heard his words _be your personal best_.

good books are best friends who never turn their backs upon us. i will spare no effort to read as many books as possible, not because i want to be president of a nation like obama, but because i want to pursue my own happiness. my friends, please come with me and let’s share the joy of reading.

Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.

Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always fort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .

Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If

I can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can bee the god and create the truth.

_My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains._ At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that _If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder._

In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will e.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's move out!

Thank you for your listening!

The tempo of modern civilization has been much quickened in the last twenty years. While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, people begin to reconsider the question of _survival_. _Survival_ in the old sense does not bother us anymore. Instead, we are more concerned about how to _survive_ in the human world full of petition.

Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyone involved. It might appear in an entrance exam, in a regular class, or in a small public speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity or a challenge a petition really is- will lose something more or less conducive to our growth. Of course, if we take the petition as an opportunity, we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; they will make us bee the focus of public attention; they will grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and weling than challenges. The truth is, however, we will lose more opportunities when we choose to take the _opportunity_ fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us and defined as _fearful challenges_, offers much more chances for the walker in petition.

We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things.

We believe in the old saying, _Opportunity knocks but just once,_ so we always wele it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devout believer of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of them who pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood into developed areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too much uncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the same miserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.

In conclusion, to define the quuality of petition seems to be far from valuable sense, for no matter what a petition is, an opportunity or a challenge, it will create nutritious elements for our growth.

So take a positive look at everything around. Keep our face to the sunshine, and we will not see the shadows.

Good morning everybody, I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. We all know that Bingxin has a famous saying “we always admire the beauty of flowers but its sprout was watered by tears of struggle and rained by blood of sacrifice”. So for the majority, behind their success, are filled of sweat and tears. Eagle flying in the vast firmament, must be experienced the pain of countless times fall under the cliff, then hammered out a pair of volley wings. A shinning of pearls, inevitably suffered countless body friction and numerous waves’ shock. In this view, a real successful people, and he must experienced numerous times to stand up again and agin after failed, because without sweat and tears on the life road ,no one can casually get the beautiful flowers. Alfter a heavy fall Shi Tiesheng lost his legs, it must be a heavy blow for anyone. But he didn't lose faith in life, but use his brain and hands to show the infinite love of life;

Beethoven was blind and deaf, but he still had written the _Hero__Destiny_nd so on a large number of music works, in his unfortunately life, he doggedly gripped the _fate of the throat. They all had a fall, but they are strong enough to stand up, fight against fate and misfortune, finally they succeed. So for each of us, wrestling is not terrible, lose confidence and courage in life is the most terribe thing. In my opionion, the sweat and tears during the life’ journey are very important for us, they hone our will, and enrich our experience. As the saying goes, how can you see the rainbow without a rainy day, while you don't work hard and not struggle, how can you gain the successful flowers. All in all, the sweat and tears on the struggling road is inevitable, don’t look for shortcuts anymore, steadfast walk every step, we will succeed in the end. So belief yourself, nothing is impossile, just do it. Thank you for taking your time to listen to my speech, I hope in the near future we all can be successful.

大家早上好,我很高兴站在这里给你一个简短的演讲。我们都知道冰心的一句名言“我们总是欣赏花的美丽,但其发芽被眼泪浇灌的斗争和牺牲的血雨”。所以对于大多数人来说,他们的成功背后,是充满汗水和泪水。鹰飞翔在辽阔天空,必须经历无数次的痛苦下悬崖,然后敲定一对凌空的翅膀。闪光的珍珠,不可避免地遭受了无数身体摩擦和许多海浪的冲击。在这个视图中,一个真正成功的人,他一定经历过无数次失败后再次站起来,反对,因为没有汗水和泪水的生活道路上,没有人能随随便便获得美丽的花朵。Alfter重下降摘要史铁生失去了他的腿,它必须对任何人来说都是一个沉重的'打击。但他没有对生活失去信心,而是用他的大脑和手显示生命的无限的爱;

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Today my topic is The Road Not Taken in Life.

“Why are you doing this? Don’t you know it’s a total waste of time?” That’s what my mom yelled at the ten-year-old me, when she found out that I had signed up for an English story-telling competition.

I bowed my head; yes, she was right. By then I was entering Grade Six, faced with the biggest challenge yet to come—the examination to enter my dream junior high school. For that, I had given up my beloved piano lesson, my favorite cartoon program and even the playful weekend family reunion with my cousins. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if my very-strict-university-teacher mother got furious at me when I chose to do anything besides study at that crucial moment.

But that’s not all to it. Now please take a good look at the twenty-year-old me, and imagine what I was like when I was ten. Here are the key words: nervous, timid, shy, tongue-tied when facing strangers, and essentially a bookworm. These signs looked fatal to my mother, and possibly to you, too; she thought that I could be anything but a good public speaker.

Well, I myself actually said no to my English teacher at first, because I had never done anything like that before and I was afraid. But he told me since I liked reading so much, why not try to tell a story I love to everyone? He also promised me that the judges were not frightening at all; just think of them as carrots and cabbages in a vegetable patch.

The ten-year-old me was persuaded by my teacher’s words. The feeling of telling my beloved stories to someone else ignited a spark of anticipation in my little chest. So I chose to endure my mother’s ranting for an entire hour, then raised my head bravely and pleaded: “Mom, please. I just want to try.”

My mother looked as if she was on the verge of another outburst—but she only sighed. I took that as her permission, and started working with my teacher day and night to find a story, to illustrate the details, and to practice my facial expressions and gestures in front of the mirror. On the day of the competition, I went on the stage for the very first time in my life; I could feel the nervousness threatening to bring me down, and I felt cheated by my teacher: it was impossible to picture the judges as mere carrots and cabbages. But I went on. Although I only got the third prize at that time, on that stage I stayed ever since, even to this very moment.

I should thank my teacher and my mother for letting me take a road that I have never taken before. Little did I know then that this road would one day lead the shy little ten-year-old me into a wonderland; it led me to meet all of you here today. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that it isn’t so terrifying to venture into the unknown at all; all you need is a little courage and determination. See where my road has led me, and bravely take your first step.

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第25篇

Hello, everyone:

It is certainly unlucky for anyone to be stolen from. However, President Roosevelt had three reasons to be grateful. This story tells us we should learn to be grateful in our life. There is a sentence from Mahatma Gandhi:“Live as you were to die tomorrow, learn as you were to live forever. ” Great people are always showing their love to the world, just as Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Norman Bethune and so on. How about us?

You can not do everything, but still you can do something. So, be grateful to your life, all the people and things in your life.

Be grateful to the nature, for the fresh air you breathe, the clean water you drink, the beautiful flower you smell.

Be grateful to your parents, for they gave birth to you and taught you right from wrong.

Be grateful to your teachers, for they let you understand “what”,“how”and“why” with great patience.

Be grateful to your friends, for you have known each other since you were 9 or 10 and faced the difficulties together for so many years.

Mother Teresa once said:“People really need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help people anyway; Give the world the best you have and you may get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.” At last I want to say: being grateful can bring us a better and more beautiful life. Why don’t we have a try?let,s get it started! Be grateful to your lover, for he/she gave you love and helped you find the sun every time you were down.

Beggars Today

Beggars are one of the most familiar groups in every city. They accompany us from our childhood until now, and I've found both the beggars and I change in this journey.

Years ago as a little girl, when I came across some old and disabled beggars on the road, I'd donate some pocket money to them, happily thinking I was helping.

s I have grown older, I've found the number of beggars has grown larger and they are more diverse. They appear in every corner of the city, on the overbridge, on the street, near restaurants, and even at your door. In contrast with the old days, it seems like the situation with beggars today is more complicated, which has made me hesitate before deciding whether to help them or not.

It's hard for me to give them money considering some who appear beggars in day time but dress up and go to fancy restaurants at night; and some who are controlled by some illegal organization and the money they get all goes to the organization. If I help them, I'd be making the problem worse, I'd be doing harm to the society, indirectly. But it's also hard not to give them money, considering there're real beggars who really need help. If I don't help them, who will? And where is my sympathy?

What hurts me the most is not how hard it is to distinguish the real help-seekers from the many false ones, but that some children are forced by adults, sometimes even their parents, to beg. They grow up despised by the world, out of mainstream society. When I see their eyes filled with desperation and impudence instead of purity and innocence, my heart sinks. We don't know how they will face the world when they grow up, how this will shape their characters, and what they may do to the society, to perpetuate this cycle of violence.

Months ago the Fu Jian government has promulgated a new policy to deal with 8 kinds of beggars. An internet survey shows that over 80% of voters reacted positively toward the policy. We know that one single policy cannot solve a problem as complex as this one, but we do look forward to some improvement. I wish all humanity can live like human.

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第27篇

Good morning, everybody!

In this world, there is one thing that is very fair to everybody, whether you are a male or female, young or old, rich or poor. Does anybody know what it is called?

Right. It is time. The topic I am going to present to you today is called “ Treasure Every Minute”.

The clock is running. Make the most of today.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.

To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with.

And remember that time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!! The clock is running. Make the most of today.

Good luck, everybody!

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第29篇

Good evening ,Ladies and Gentlemen:

Thank you very much for choosing to come in such a cold y my topic is about choice and research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. In my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. There is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.

Life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example, I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice, days have been harsh for cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths over, I learned to act instead of complaining. In retrospect, the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

NO matter what the choice is, enjoy the process. In the process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries, improvement and progress will come to you. These are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see e make your life colorful.

There is no need and I donnot want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here, but I congratulate to myself for I gain and enjoy this fantastic experience. So my dear friends, never worry about your choice and enjoy the process. I am sure you will get something new and intersting tonight after you chose to come here. Thank you!

英语演讲稿五分钟范文 第30篇

We care about ourselves more and more. We eat what's right and we exercise. We absolutely embrace health. However, it is not only our health that we should embrace, though many of us do not realize that. Many of us do not realize that the earth we live on is a fragile being that needs to be protected like a new born child.

We probably haven't even noticed, that with each stride the civilization takes toward the ultimate development, more burdens are added to the earth that provides us with essentials to live. The decrease in air quality, the climate change, medical waste, noise and water pollution, and even food poisoning has added to the list of growing concerns to our living environment. Human are not supernatural beings, thus these problems have affected pretty much every matter. We upgrade gadgets and make full use of newer technologies, but we pay for the consequences in turn. For instance, the advent of batteries and machinery has caused million tons of water become toxic and undrinkable, further aggravating the already serious condition of water shortage and poisoning in several countries. The over-production and over-use of transportation vehicles and electricity has contributed to the Global Warming and caused myriads of species to disappear from the face of the earth due to home-loss and temperature change. We have brought wonders to the world, but have also destroyed miracles of nature. We are concerned about our nutritional intake and exercise all the time, so why shouldn't we care about the conditions of our living planet as well?

Time is ticking on. We shouldn't put off the whole _save the environment_ affair any longer. Please, do what feels right in our hearts, even though it is only a tiny matter. Save up resources, promote the recycling and reusing of products, and always remember to take some time off going into the woods and breathe in the sweetness in the air. We have come from the woods, thus we would all have a secret desire in our hearts to harmonize with nature again. Remember, every little thing matters.
